In the latter part of my 20s, I spent eight years as a public speaker and influencer across South Africa, leading leadership development programs and influencing future leaders on school stages. However, after leaving these programs, I found myself in what felt like a mundane job that drained my soul and calling. Today, I now understand that job was a stepping stone; even though I was utterly unfulfilled, it was part of my journey, and I am grateful for the time doing it.
My journey birthing DNA True North began in my late 30s when I felt a profound awakening to realign my life. This wake-up call birthed the DNA True North concept. In late 2008, feeling unfulfilled, I started blogging about potential and purpose. I told my wife I would write a book in 3-4 months. In reality, it turned into a six-year deep dive into unlocking human potential. During this period, I formulated my frameworks, realizing I wasn't just writing a book—the book was writing me. I published a fraction of my work under the title DNA Gifts in 2014.
By early 2016, the vision inside me was greater than my external reality. Unable to continue trading my soul for a paycheck, I left my stable job to pursue my newfound calling, which I call CDP (Central Definite Purpose). Doors opened, stages welcomed me, and I trained on DNA concepts locally and internationally, reaching business networks, corporates, and even ambassadors from over 30 nations.
Living and walking out my CDP, I embraced the process and pain. Incredible people joined my team, contributing to the development of DNA True North. We built a tribe of thousands within a closed network on the internet, witnessing the transformative power of the DNA True North concept.
For five years, we refined our system and birthed new companies in software development and marketing. Despite producing amazing results and having ardent followers, I never felt the need to move DNA True North into the public domain. Yet, countless people reached out, asking for more information and how to join.
In 2023, I felt a strong urge to bring DNA True North's impact to the public. Initially reluctant, I decided to trust the process and step out of my comfort zone. In September 2023, I scaled the organization with top purpose coaches in South Africa, England, Canada, and the USA. These coaches are passionate about transforming their clients' lives. Together, we revisited and upgraded all our systems to scale worldwide.
I can humbly say that DNA's personalized approach has transformed countless lives, guiding people to uncover their true potential and find their CDP. The unique DNA True North concept causes a trajectory change in those who go through the programs. Pursuing my CDP unlocked my potential and aligned my inner world with my external reality.
